THE MYSTERY OF JESUS : THE BIBLE’S GREATEST SECRET

Introduction :

In this latest mystery, I begin to present to you, My 19 Years of Study of the Christian Bible or the New  Testament. For 19 years, I have had gone through sleepless nights, in trying to unravel the GREATEST SECRET EVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND and that was " DID JESUS DIE ON THE CROSS OR NOT ? DOES THE BIBLE HAVE SOMETHING ELSE TO TELL US ? IS THE CHURCH HIDING A GREAT SECRET FROM MANKIND ? "

19 years later, this massive Book is spelling out one of the most Amazing Secrets , which 1.3 Billion Catholic  Christians + other dominions of the Christian parentage believe in , but have never even got close to this massive hidden secret , lying buried , right within the very verses of this Book , which every Christian holds in High esteem and regard apparently.
At the outset, I honestly want to inform  all my readers of this particular article that, my search for Jesus and his truth , was all because I was born in a Christian  Missionary Hospital and the very first  God they took me to , was Jesus itself..

My personal respect for this Purana called the Bible will always hold strong, because as a follower of Vedas, I have to respect this ancient book, which will now reveal some of the massive secrets that have remained hidden inside the very verses.

Having said that , the Most important question which we are dealing in this particular article is “ Did Jesus actually die on the Cross or not ?

I also want to make it clear that , I will only use the Bible and no other biased sources in telling out , the Greatest Mystery of All Times in this particular article. There will be no supplementary material used , while decoding this 2000 years old mystery . Only the Bible and its verses, would form the basis of this entire research article.

Let us begin, on a quest like never before !!!

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 1 ]

I now begin unraveling the Great Secret of Jesus and the Bible . At the Outset, let me make it clear that, I will be taking you through the 4 Gospels every time in each of the Parts of this mystery. Please do keep a note of the Gospels , The Chapter numbers , The Verse numbers and ofcourse , I will be quoting the verses from the New International Version ( NIV ) for easier reading for all the readers who might be reading this article.

FIRST OF ALL, WHY DID MY SUSPICION ARISE THAT " JESUS DID NOT DIE ON THE CROSS ? "

The New Testament or the Christian Bible has got 4 Gospels to it, which gives the Story of Jesus, a full shape. These 4 Gospels are namely – Gospel of Matthew, Gospel of Luke, Gospel of Mark and Gospel of John. These 4 Gospels make up the central theme of the Jesus story.

We need to understand that, these 4 Gospels, do not talk exactly the same story. But these 4 Gospels, complete the Story of Jesus. If any one of the Gospels is removed, than the Story of Jesus, becomes incomplete. Because what Gospel of Luke says, is not the same mentioned in any of the other 3 Gospels. These 4 Gospels are interconnected and interwined.

Now, we begin with, where the Problem Begins with the Story of Jesus as revealed to us in the Bible. In Gospel of Luke , Chapter 24, Verses 36 to 43, Jesus himself reveals that “ He never died on the Crucifix “. Jesus even mentions “ Look at my hands and feet “and himself reveals “ I am not a ghost “. Jesus even asks his disciples for food. Apparently, this Chapter from Gospel of Luke happens after the Chapter of the event of the Crucifixion of Jesus , and the Testament reveals that “ Jesus ate a Broiled Fish “. Gospel of Luke is telling us, That Jesus was saved from death on the Cross. But the question is “ How was Jesus saved from the Cross“ and “ By Whom “ ? . Amazingly, the Bible will itself tell us the “ HOW “ and “ WHO “ saved Jesus.

Now here are the verses , I have been pointing at  " Luke 24:36-43 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Appears to the Disciples

36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence. "

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 2 ]

Now I take you to GOSPEL OF MATTHEW, CHAPTER 27. Before we explore what is happening in this Chapter , I need to provide some basic information for those , who might have never read the New Testament or the Christian Bible or has very little connection with the Biblical story of Jesus.

Jesus, had  become a massive problem  for the Jewish Priests and the elders, because of his teachings , which were directed against the rituals carried out by the Jewish priests in their Temples. Jesus, wanted to abolish the system of rituals followed by the Jewish Priests, which was largely based on the teaching of Moses. Jesus himself was a Jew and was against the highly Paganic influenced rituals, which the Jewish priests were carrying on. UNFORTUNATELY , TODAY, CHRISTIANS FOLLOW THE SAME PAGANIC PRACTICES, FOR WHICH JESUS FOUGHT AGAINST AND WAS CRUCIFIED IN THE FIRST PLACE. Which is infact a massive irony in itself.

Because Jesus was a rebel Jew, with a new reformed system of teachings, he had become a direct threat to the Jewish elders and the Jewish priests took note of his activities and complained to the Roman Governor, Pilate.

At this juncture, it is important for us to remember that after the Great Macedonian, Alexander the Great made his famous expeditions towards the East including Ancient Western India, Alexander re-routed towards Ancient Egypt and brought the whole territory under the Macedonians, which later was taken over by the Romans, and Egypt thereby had Roman authority and during the time of Jesus, Pilate was the Roman Governor.

Jesus had 12 disciples, the Bible reveals to us, that the Jewish elders got one of his disciples “ Judas “ to betray Jesus for money. And the betrayal of Judas, would result in the Jewish elders and the Roman soldiers to catch Jesus, from amongst the crowd. I am not going in detail with this part and more or less, most of us are already aware of this part of the story.

Now, Gospel of Matthew 27, speaks of the incident, when “ Jesus was produced in front of the Roman General – Pilate “. The Testament reveals, that Pilate was in no mood to hand over Jesus to the Jewish elders nor was he interested in handing over a verdict accepting The Crucifixion of Jesus , which the Jewish elders were demanding for. Initially, Pilate tried to bargain with the Jews, by exchanging another Jewish prisoner named “ Barabbas “ and was trying to get Jesus relief from Crucifixion in exchange for Barabbas.

BUT WHY DID " PILATE , TRY TO EXCHANGE BARABBAS , TO SAVE JESUS' LIFE ??? " THE BIBLE WILL TELL US THE ANSWER . Now here are the verses from Gospel of Matthew , Chapter 27 for your reference :

" Matthew 27:11-26 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Before Pilate

11 Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

“You have said so,” Jesus replied.

12 When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13 Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.

15 Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. 16 At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Jesus[a] Barabbas. 17 So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18 For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.

19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”

20 But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.

21 “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor.

“Barabbas,” they answered.

22 “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.

They all answered, “Crucify him!”

23 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.

But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”

24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”

25 All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”

26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. "

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 3 ]

Now, I take you to GOSPEL OF JOHN, CHAPTER 18 . The Same Story, where Jesus meets the Roman Governor – Pilate, after being caught by the Roman soldiers and the Jewish elders, because of the betrayal of Judas. Gospel of John’s version of the story however is not exactly like what we found in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 27

Even in Gospel of John. We find that Pilate was trying to negotiate with the Jews to exchange Jesus for Barabbas. But Why ??? Well, we will find out the Why through the Bible itself !!!

Now here are the verses from Gospel of John for your reference

" John 18:28-40 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Before Pilate

28 Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace, because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover. 29 So Pilate came out to them and asked, “What charges are you bringing against this man?”

30 “If he were not a criminal,” they replied, “we would not have handed him over to you.”

31 Pilate said, “Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law.”

“But we have no right to execute anyone,” they objected. 32 This took place to fulfill what Jesus had said about the kind of death he was going to die.

33 Pilate then went back inside the palace, summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

34 “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?”

35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

38 “What is truth?” retorted Pilate. With this he went out again to the Jews gathered there and said, “I find no basis for a charge against him. 39 But it is your custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of the Passover. Do you want me to release ‘the king of the Jews’?”

40 They shouted back, “No, not him! Give us Barabbas!” Now Barabbas had taken part in an uprising. "

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 4 ]

So Far in the PART 2 & PART 3 , where I covered Both Gospel of Matthew And Gospel of John , We noted that Pilate, The Roman Governor wanted to ensure the safety of Jesus and was even ready to allow the Jews to crucify “ Barabbas” in exchange for Jesus . In both the Gospels, the same is repeated. However, “ Why did Pilate want to save Jesus anyway ? “

The Bible tells us “ Why ?” .

In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 27, Verse 19 , it is revealed to us that “ It was Pilate’s wife , who had requested Pilate , and asked him to cause no harm to Jesus “ and here is the verse for your reference :

“Matthew 27:19 New International Version (NIV)

19 While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 5 ]

So far , we have seen that the Roman Governor – Pilate was trying his best to persuade , the Jews to leave Jesus and accept another Jewish prisoner named “ Barabbas “ to be crucified. Both Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 27 and Gospel of John, Chapter 18 tell us the same story . However , Gospel of Matthew reveals the frustration of Pilate, when he failed in negotiating with the Jews to accept Barabbas instead of Jesus . The Testament reveals his frustrated situation in the following verse :

Matthew 27:24 New International Version (NIV)

24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”

BUT COULD PILATE ALLOW AN INNOCENT MAN NAMED " JESUS " DIE ON THE CROSS ???

The Bible will tell us the TRUTH !!!

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 6 ]

So far in the First 5 Parts, we have learnt, how the New Testament or the Christian Bible is informing us that Pilate, The Roman Governor was trying to save Jesus from the Jewish priests and their elders . We have also been informed  that , it was Pilate’s wife , " Who had asked Pilate that no harm should ever come upon Jesus, as he was an innocent man “

Pilate knew, if this innocent man died on the cross , it would be a massive sin on his part, and hence he himself wanted to wash off his hands from the death of Jesus , if his Crucifixion was the only thing , that could make the Jewish elders happy and made it quite clear , it would be entirely their responsibility .

However, could Pilate allow, Jesus to die on the Crucifix ? Was there a man , who could help him, save Jesus , after he was crucified in public eye , with a huge crowd as a witness to an event like the crucifixion of Jesus ?

Is there a Hidden secret , and a hidden man , whom Pilate could use to Save Jesus , after his crucifixion ???

The Bible will reveal to us, a man , Who Could !!!

WHO IS THIS MAN, AFTER ALL ???

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 7 ]

I am now taking you to Gospel of John, Chapter 3 . Pilate, would need a man, capable of saving Jesus, after he was crucified along with two other prisoners on the same day. Pilate knew , there was a man , who could save “ Jesus “ and his name “NICODEMUS “. Nicodemus was a Jewish Medicine man, whom the Gospel of John introduces in Chapter 3. This man is the man , who would ask Pilate to hand over the body of Jesus , after his crucifixion . Along with Nicodemus , there was another Jewish religious man , whose name is revealed in the Bible as Joseph of Arimathea .

Both , Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea, would immediately reach the doors of Pilate, right after Jesus’ crucifixion . But Why ???

The Romans never allowed the body of a Crucified person to be taken down from the Cross and the families were never allowed to take back the body of the one , who was crucified. The Roman crucifixion method required the deceased man’s body to remain on the Crucifix and to be eaten in bits and parts by Scavengers and other preying birds . How come in Jesus’ case , two unrelated men arrived to claim the body of Jesus and Pilate agreed to allow them to take Jesus’ body as  well ???

The Bible will reveal us the Truth.

First , let us understand , what happened when Nicodemus met Jesus , the first Time and here is the account , from Gospel of John , which proves , Jesus and Nicodemus knew each other , right from the very initial days of Jesus’ Ministry . Here are the verses for your reference :

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 8 ]

In PART 7 , I have revealed the names  of the Three People , who were responsible for saving Jesus from a sure shot death on the Crucifix  These 3 are none other than – Pilate , Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea.

But before we start to unravel , How Jesus was saved from the Cross, we need to understand , how “ Jesus was Crucified “ as mentioned in the 4 Gospels . Here I am sharing the verses from  Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 27 , which informs us “ How Jesus was crucified as per the Gospel of Matthew “ . Later , we will look at the other 3 Gospels as well and find out the versions of the Crucifixion event as mentioned in them .

HERE ARE THE VERSES FROM " GOSPEL OF MATTHEW : Matthew 27:32-56 New International Version (NIV)

The Crucifixion of Jesus

32 As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross. 33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”). 34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. 35 When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots. 36 And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. 37 Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.

38 Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. 39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads 40 and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” 41 In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. 42 “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” 44 In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him. "

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 9 ]

At the outset, I had informed all of you that these 4 Gospels that make “ Christianity “ are all interlinked. I also had pointed out that , all the 4 Gospels speak the story of Jesus in their own unique way , and do not speak of the same event , exactly the same way . There are variations in the verses and the way the content has been presented relating to a particular event .

Here I present the Gospel of John version of the Crucifixion . It is pretty evident that , Gospel of John is giving us a more clearer narrative compared to Gospel of Matthew .

" John 19:16-27 New International Version (NIV)

16 Finally Pilate handed him over to them to be crucified.

The Crucifixion of Jesus

So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle.

19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. 21 The chief priests of the Jews protested to Pilate, “Do not write ‘The King of the Jews,’ but that this man claimed to be king of the Jews.”

22 Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.”

23 When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.

24 “Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another. “Let’s decide by lot who will get it.”

This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said,

“They divided my clothes among them
and cast lots for my garment.”[a]

So this is what the soldiers did.

25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman,[b] here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home. "

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 10 ]

I have already shared, The Crucifixion of Jesus, in PART 8 and PART 9 and have covered How the same event is mentioned in GOSPEL OF MATTHEW and GOSPEL OF JOHN . Now I provide , The event of Crucifixion from the GOSPEL OF MARK .

GOSPEL OF MARK , reveals to us , at what time was Jesus Crucified . We now know that Jesus was Crucified at 9 A.M in the Morning . Very crucial evidence , as we are trying to solve , a murder or no murder mystery , which happened some 2000 years back .

Now , keep a note of the time of Crucifixion “ 9 A.M IN THE MORNING “ . The Bible is slowly but surely letting out its secrets , that have lied buried for 2000 years within its verses .

Now , here are the verses from Gospel of Mark for your reference :

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 11 ]

I have shared the Crucifixion of Jesus ,as per  " The Gospel of Matthew ", " The Gospel of John " and  " Gospel of Mark " in my article PART 8 , PART 9 & PART 10. . Now I share the verses from Gospel Of Luke , The 4th Gospel .

AND HERE ARE THE VERSES FROM GOSPEL OF LUKE

" Luke 23:26-43 New International Version (NIV)

The Crucifixion of Jesus
26 As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. 27 A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. 28 Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. 29 For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ 30 Then

“‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!”
and to the hills, “Cover us!”’[a]

31 For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[b] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”

36 The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar 37 and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

38 There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews.

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[c]”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 12 ]

So far , We have witnessed that , Pilate , the Roman Governor was totally against allowing the Jewish Priests and the Elders from Crucifying Jesus and hence , he had tried to exchange , Barabbas , another Jewish prisoner instead of Jesus . But , he could not help the Jewish cries that Jesus be handed over to the Jews and be crucified . We also , learnt from Gospel of John , Chapter 3 , That Nicodemus , a Jewish Medicine Man , had met and known Jesus from his early days of ministry . The reason , Nicodemus is so interestingly introduced in the Gospel of John is because , This Man , would do what for the ancient Jews, was a miracle only.

In Ancient Times , The Middle East and the Egyptians were in Constant touch with Indian Monks and Ayurveda was not just restricted to India alone . This knowledge of Medicinal Herbs was also known to them including the Greeks . We need to remember , Alexander the Great was born 356 Years before Jesus . The Great Macedonian had already occupied parts of Western India and later routed towards Ancient Egypt and occupied Egypt for the Macedonians and later which came under the domain of the Roman Empire.

Many Greek Scholars , including Socrates And Aristotle , were aware about Indian Texts and the Philosophies. Socrates was born 399 years before Jesus.   Aristotle , who was the teacher of Alexander was born 384 years before Jesus . Socrates was  Aristotle’s teacher.

Hence the ancient World, had shared knowledge , with what Indian Vedics were composing , including the knowledge  of Ayurveda. Nicodemus was no excuse and was a Master Physician himself .

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 13 ]

Now we look at , hoe the 4 Gospels narrate the “ Death of Jesus “. First , I share the account as per " GOSPEL OF MATTHEW " Chapter 27 . In Gospel of Matthew , we are informed that at 3 P.M , Jesus went into unconsciousness . The reason , Jesus is offered a sedative of some kind , which smelled like a mixture of Wine and Vinegar in a sponge. Gospel of Mark . has already informed us , that Jesus was crucified at 9 a.m in the morning . Hence Jesus was on the Cross for 6 hours only of the same day . When people , who were not aware about the power of sedatives , saw Jesus going into unconsciousness , for them , it was a clear indication of a dead man . However , we need to note that the Bible does not use the word “ Die “ at all . Gospel of Matthew states the word as “ Gave up his spirit “ which actually means , Jesus had lost consciousness and had lost the spirit of survival . The sedative which smelled like a mix of wine and vinegar was an intentional technique of ensuring Jesus went unconscious, so that the crowd could be made to believe , it was all over for Jesus . A Massive and beautifully planned scheme of events .

We will find further evidence in the Other 3 Gospels as well .

Now here are the verses for your reference  " Matthew 27:45-56 New International Version (NIV)

The Death of Jesus

45 From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. 46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli,[a] lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b]

47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. 49 The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.”

50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[c] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

55 Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph,[d] and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 14 ]

Now, we look at the most important Gospel evidence that “ Pilate never wanted Jesus to die on the Cross “. Gospel of John , Chapter 19 , reveals to us , that Jesus was thirsty . After he had been put up on the Cross at 9 A.M ( Gospel of Mark ) and he would go unconscious at 3 P.M ( Gospel of Matthew ). 6 hours in the Sun , would anyway make a man thirsty and that too after being flogged all the way, with the Cross on his back.

Amazingly , water is not available , but vinegar is available ? What ? The real fact is that “ Pilate never wanted Jesus dead . Pilate’s wife wanted no harm done to Jesus , and hence a sedative , which smelled like wine and vinegar mixed together was given to Jesus in a sponge, which made him unconscious immediately . “

This was done, because the Jewish elders wanted the legs of the 3 Crucified broken . The other 2 convicts had their legs broken , but the legs of Jesus were not broken, because a soldier of Pilate, convinced the crowd , that he was already dead.

It was a massive plan, which was done the previous night. Before the Crucifixion . The Bible will tell us , how the Plan was thought out

Now, here are the verses from Gospel of John for your reference  " The Death of Jesus “

28 Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

31 Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, and he testifies so that you also may believe. 36 These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken,”[c] 37 and, as another scripture says, “They will look on the one they have pierced.”[d] "

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 15 ]

Now I share , Gospel of Mark. " Gospel of John " gave us a very clear indication about the sequence of events , during the Crucifixion and Death of Jesus and makes us all clear , how Jesus was saved from sure shot death , by Pilate and his Soldiers . Gospel of Mark, on the other hand shares us the same secret , but with very little information .

Even “ Gospel of Mark “ informs us that Jesus was sedated to become unconscious. Any reasonable person will wonder , “ Why on Earth, would somebody carry vinegar to a site of crucifixion ? “ The Testaments tell us, the smell of this sedative was like a mixture of wine and vinegar. We all might still accept that the Hebrews ( Jews ) probably drank wine right from morning to evening from a relative point of thinking, but vinegar ??? What for Vinegar ?

This was all a great plan by Pilate and Nicodemus . The Bible will reveal to us , how this plan was orchestrated  and we will further find evidence in the Bible itself .

Here are the verses from Gospel of Mark for your reference :

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 16 ]

Now , we enter into Some of the Most Complex Hidden Secrets which the Bible has been keeping in store for us . So , far we have already seen . Nicodemus was a Man , who was keeping an Eye on the Welfare of Jesus . Nicodemus is mentioned and introduced by his name in Gospel of John , Chapter 3. However , it could not happen that Nicodemus would not be mentioned in the Other Gospels . Nicodemus was a Jewish Pharisee and a Medicine Man of repute. The Angel, which Gospel of Luke mentions in Chapter 2 is nobody else , but Nicodemus . Nicodemus was with Jesus, all along. The Bible will continue to keep informing us , the connection even later . Nicodemus , was the man , who foretold , about the coming of Jesus . But why did he so much ,take care of Jesus ???

Why is Nicodemus so close to Jesus ? Is there something, we have been missing all along this massively crafted book and is hidden within the verses and we have been simply overlooking it all this while ? We need to find out , what we are missing out .

Now read the verses carefully from Gospel of Luke, it mention him as an Angel .

Luke 2:8-20 New International Version (NIV)

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 17 ]

Now I take you to Gospel of Luke, Chapter 22. .Another very important chapter. Gospel of Luke, informs that , the night before Jesus was crucified , an angel had appeared and met him. This angel strengthens the will of Jesus, as we find it being mentioned in verse 43. But who was this angel ? Wait till the Gospel of John, reveals to us , who this angel was . For the time being, read the verses from the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 22 for your reference.

Now read the verses from Luke Chapter 22 . " Luke 22:39-46 New International Version (NIV)

Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives

39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. 40 On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” 41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” 43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. 44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.[a]

45 When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow. 46 “Why are you sleeping?” he asked them. “Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 18 ]

Now , I take you to Gospel of Matthew. We now investigate the verses carefully . These verses are an account of what happened after the Crucifixion of Jesus. Gospel of Matthew, inform us that Joseph of Arimathea had gone to Pilate and had asked for the Body of Jesus , after his crucifixion. Gospel of Matthew does not mention that Nicodemus was also with Joseph of Arimathea. In Gospel of John, however , we are informed that Joseph of Arimathea was accompanied by Nicodemus , when he went to collect the body of Jesus from Pilate .Gospel of Matthew mentions that Joseph of Arimathea was a secret disciple of Jesus .

Now, here we have a Major Problem . As we note, neither Joseph , nor Nicodemus was a relative of Jesus nor a Family member . Keeping this in mind, we need to question , “ Why did Pilate agree to give the body of Jesus to an unknown man , who was neither a relative , nor a family member of Jesus ? “ . We note that Jesus’ Mother Mary , Mary Magdalene , His brothers were all alive , but none of the Family members went to collect the body of Jesus , but a complete stranger who called himself a secret disciple of Jesus ? Why would Pilate even entertain, a non- family member to collect and do the necessary burial for a man in the hands of unrelated people of the deceased ? We will find out , why Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus are suspected Characters for the time being , as we explore Gospel of John next.

Now here are the verses from Gospel of Matthew for your reference " Matthew 27:57-66 New International Version (NIV)

The Burial of Jesus

57 As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. 58 Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus’ body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. 59 Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. 61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.

The Guard at the Tomb
62 The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. 63 “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’ 64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.”

65 “Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.” 66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard."

THE MYSTERY OF JESUS - THE BIBLE'S GREATEST SECRET [ PART 19 ]

Now I take you to Gospel of John . Unlike Gospel of Matthew , Gospel of John , clearly states , That Nicodemus had accompanied Joseph of Arimathea , when he went to collect the Body of Jesus from Pilate . Both Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea were unrelated men to Jesus . The verses here are informing of a major hidden secret , which has been lying buried within the verses for 2000 years or so . Infact, what the Bible does not say is that Joseph of Arimathea was actually the maternal uncle of Jesus and for that matter , Nicodemus had access to the body of Jesus , which in turn was a wise move from Pilate himself. And as far as Nicodemus and his relationship with Jesus is concerned , there is a huge scope of further research , as to understand , " Why did Nicodemus almost behave like a Father , protecting his Son ? " Nicodemus went to great lengths in protecting and saving Jesus' life from a sure shot death after his crucifixion , with his presence of mind when it came to his understanding of medicinal herbs and their uses.

There also arises another question ......Why did not , Jesus’ mother Mary, or Mary Magdalene or Jesus’ 11 remaining disciples ( As Judas is mentioned  to have committed suicide before the Crucifixion of Jesus ) or any of his brothers go and collect the Body of Jesus ?

Because , NICODEMUS WAS A MAN WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF MEDICINES .

Gospel of John , Chapter 19 , verse 39 , confirms that , It was Nicodemus , who had met Jesus on the night before his Crucifixion and had strengthened his Will .

Gospel of John further reveals that , the Jewish Physician was carrying a mixture of 75 Pounds of myrrh and aloe vera ( 34 Kilograms ) . This mixture had been in use to operate on wounded soldiers , during times of war. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea are the Two Angels mentioned in the Testaments, who will work 24/7 for 3 consecutive days and operate on Jesus and save him from dying by helping him recuperate from his major blood loss, which was inflicted upon him , during the phase of his flogging through the streets ,while carrying the Cross on his back and all the way to the site of his crucifixion. The Gospels have already informed us that , Jesus was on the Cross for 6 hours only. Further Pilate , had used his authorative power to ensure that the bones of Jesus were not broken and by handing over the wounded body of Jesus immediately to Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea , Jesus had been assisted in getting immediate medical attention in the hands of the Jewish medical practitioners .

It made much logic to Pilate to hand over the body of Jesus to Nicodemus, who was a medical practitioner of the ancient times, but also because Joseph of Arimathea was a maternal uncle of Jesus.

In the cave , which Joseph of Arimathea had carved out , for 3 days , both Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea operated in quarantine environment as , Pilate further authorized that , nobody would be near the cave for 3 days and placed soldiers around the cave to guard it .

After 3 Days , Jesus had returned back to his full health and there after onwards the Story of Jesus, has been taken miles and miles away from the real truth , which the Bible has been seeking to tell us for all these many years .

The success of medical science in saving a dying man, with the help of medicinal herbs like myrrh and aloes , somehow got termed as a “ RESURRECTION “.

PILATE , NICODEMUS AND JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA – THE HOLY TRINITY that worked out a master plan and saved Jesus from the Cross.

Now here the verses from Gospel of John for your reference " John 19:38-42 New International Version (NIV)

The Burial of Jesus

38 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate’s permission, he came and took the body away. 39 He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds.[a] 40 Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. 41 At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb, in which no one had ever been laid. 42 Because it was the Jewish day of Preparation and since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.
